Quantum Leadership Retreat: The Shift to Flourishing
Who will lead the Quantum Leadership Retreat?
Frederick Chavalit Tsao
Chairman, IMC Pan Asia Alliance
and Founder & CEO, Octave
Founder & Chairman,
Family Business Network Asia
Fred is the fourth generation steward of a, more than 100 years old, family business.
He joined his family business at the age of 20 and by age 37, took over as Chairman of
IMC Group. Fred has served on numerous maritime and non-profit organizations,
notably as Chairman of Intercargo, an international dry cargo shipping organization for
7 years. Fred is naturally curious and passionate in learning and seeking cutting edge
innovation. He believes that family business can make a difference to the evolution of
business in its role in society and advocates that evolution is the key and
consciousness is the ultimate capital.
Having been in business for more than 40 years in business, his primary goal now,
is to help shape the next generation of business practices. He seeks to promote a new
leadership model that fuses eastern wisdom and western science, and offers those
working in for-profit enterprises a powerful guide to a more holistic, life-centered way
of being. In the emerging fields of quantum physics, evolutionary biology,
neurophysiology, and consciousness research, he sees evidence in the
interconnectedness and essential oneness of the world. After many years of research
and contemplation, Fred built Octave, a business model which is an expression of
Fred’s world view of business role in society.
